About the role

We are committed to bringing Income Protection to the UK’s workforce because everyone needs a Financial back up plan, should they get ill or injured. Your task? To support the assessment of claims, as well as assisting individuals back to work through case management.

Working on a number of cases at any one time, you’ll be able to see each one through to conclusion – knowing that you’ve played a huge part of getting their lives back on track. One of your challenges will be to compare an individual claimants’ pre-disability jobs, with their physical and/or psychological restrictions and limitations as well as identifying those cases who would benefit from vocational rehabilitation intervention.

About you

You’ll ideally have experience in a similar role at an insurance company, or you might be an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Psychologist with experience or an interest in vocational rehabilitation. As this kind of job is common in Australia and New Zealand, we welcome applications from those who are eligible to work in the UK.

Whatever your background, you’ll need a qualification in one of the following: Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Occupational Health, Occupational Psychology and/or Vocational Case Management. CDMP is desirable.

You’ll also bring the ability to give and receive constructive, behaviourally-based feedback with peers and partners. A confident mentor of others, you can apply a range of vocational assessment tools and databases, including vocational/ occupational analysis and transferrable skills analysis.
